- Celebrate National Library Week April 4th - April 10th with Overdrive's Big Library Read digital book club: The Art of Taking it Easy by Brian King.
From shelving books to helping with programs, there is something you can contribute to value of the library. If you have the time and would like to help, please volunteer.
Teen volunteers are welcome. Hours are available on a first-come, first-served basis and scheduled in advance. Not only is the Teen Volunteer Program a great way to earn volunteer hours for National Honor Society or other school clubs, it is a great opportunity to give back to the community and learn skills that will translate well into job and college applications. Teen volunteers also help plan our teen programs.
Court ordered community service hours must be approved by the library director.
You can donate to the Friends of the Kaufman County Library, which supports many of the library programs you enjoy, like the annual summer reading program, book clubs, author visits, book sales and more!
Contact the library for your volunteer opportunities.
